One to one Counselling

One to one counselling is when you meet with a counsellor and no one else shares your time with you and your therapist, they are able to dedicate there full time and attention to your specific needs. Depending upon the counsellor you see, which is usually guided by what you bring to counselling, they will be able to offer you the right type of support.

One to one counselling can be about anything you feel is relevant and that will be helpful to you at this time. Things like family difficulties, bereavement, divorce, new relationships, the birth of a child or maybe even a child leaving home leaving you feeling unsure about the future or just unhappy about the thought of them going out into the big wide world. It may be a health issue, or feeling depressed or generally unhappy or sad.

There are many reasons to bring you to see a counsellor, the important thing to remember is that your counsellor is here to listen to you and support you in whatever way is helpful to you.

If you are unsure about whether counselling would be helpful, why not give us a call and we can discuss your needs, and you can then make a more informed decision.
